The Average IT Support Specialist Profile:

This course bundle is ideal for current IT Support workers wishing to enhance their support and technical skills. The bundle offers incredible value for money for anyone looking to get CompTIA certified. It covers 4 separate certification courses, spanning a variety of disciplines and technical fields from networking, and servers, to Linux.

Who are CompTIA? Watch this video to find out.

Although the certification courses within this bundle can be completed in any particular order, CompTIA recommends that learners can benefit by completing the Network+ and Server+ before embarking on the Linux+. This is particularly applicable to learners that do not have a background in Linux. This is primarily due to a number of cross-over skills, knowledge, and topics covered in parts of the Network+ and Server+ courses.

Upon completion of this course and gaining experience in an IT support role, you’ll receive three CompTIA acclaim badges that you can add to your CV or social media profile for prospective employers to see. You’ll also receive three official CompTIA certifications validating your IT skills. Scroll further down the page to see an example of one of the CompTIA certifications you will receive.

Watch this video to understand how ‘Acclaim’ badges can help you stand out from the crowd.

You will not only exit this course with a three globally respected certifications, but a deeper knowledge of IT technical concepts, practices and tools to better equip you to manage and respond to IT support issues. You will possess a set of skills you can apply to a vast range of IT job roles, including IT support, helpdesk, networking, systems administration, and data center management.

An example of a CompTIA Network+ certification you can gain through this course.

The bundle is made up of four CompTIA certification courses. The CompTIA Linux+ is separated into two courses, the LX0-103 and LX0-104. Learners must pass both exams in order to earn the CompTIA Linux+ certification. The CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Server+ contains only one exam each.

How does this course bundle work?

This course bundle is made up of four main resources as shown below. Each certification course has as its own set of resources, i.e. 1 x textbook, 1 x practice lab, 1 x MeasureUP practice exam (excluding CompTIA Server+ and Linux+), 1 x official CompTIA exam. Each resource is designed to work in conjunction with each other to ensure the successful path to certification. You will complete one course and exam, then repeat the process for the remaining courses. Once you have passed the exams, you will receive three certifications from CompTIA. Read below to learn more about the resources that make up this course.

 Textbook
Each textbook will be delivered to you online or in the post if a paperback version is available. The online textbooks can be accessed from any device. You will receive the first textbook upon enrolling on the course and subsequent textbooks after completing the official exam for the course before. The textbooks are to be used in conjunction with the practice tests and live labs.

 Practice Lab
The hands-on live practice labs allow you to experience practical application of course concepts in an authentic online environment 24/7, all from the comfort of your home or office. The lab environment allows you to test and apply your skills as you learn. These labs also come with tasks challenging what you have learnt. To learn more about practice labs, click here.

 MeasureUP Practice Exams
After working your way through each course, you should be ready to start revising for your official exams. To do this, we provide you with MeasureUP practice tests. MeasureUP practice tests are authorised by CompTIA. These are the closest experience to the actual exam you’ll be taking.

 Official CompTIA Exams
Having confidently passed the practice tests, you will be ready to sit the official CompTIA exams – which we will book on your behalf. You will do these at your local testing center, which we will locate for you. There are testing centers all over the country.

How long will it take me to complete each course?

How soon you can complete the course is dependent on several factors such as the amount of time you can dedicate to the course each week, and how quickly you absorb information. Revision for each exam will take a minimum of 2 weeks. We recommend you spend at least 6-8 hours on each course per week to be able to finish it within the 12 months time allowance. You will have full access to the course material and resources for 12 months and must take your exams within this period.

What do I need?

Your course can be done from any where in the world. If you decide to move to a different city or even country, you can continue with the course from wherever you are. All you need is either a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, smart phone, and an internet connection.
